I always try and give a balanced review so that any criticisms are taken as genuine feedback in order that improvements can be made for the benefit of both Proprietor and guests. It is not intended to be a moan!

Booked a Luxury En Suite for 190 GBP a night. Expedia states Daily Housekeeping, which having booked 3 nights expected bedding and towels to be changed at least once and replenishing of coffee etc, this didn't happen and by the end of our stay they were dirty, and bins were overflowing.
Bed linen is Polyester, looked and felt tired and washed out, pillows were uncomfortable and again didn't feel like a quality product. Other guests have commented on the lack on poor quality blinds, letting light into the bedroom and the fact there is no door between the bedroom and lounge, and no blind on the lounge window, meant we were awake by 5.30am.
The kettle had a short lead and required us to put it on the floor and plug into one of two 6 way extension leads. Not sure this is legal?but a pain nonetheless.
Black mould around the shower base, a few squirts of Mould Remover would fix.
Finally the laminated wood floor was dirty, such that when my wife took her white socks off having walked around for a few minutes they were black. A good mopping needed.
None of these issues would be difficult or expensive to fix-Mattress, bed linen, towels, kettle, mould, daily housekeeping/cleaning. Then they could justifiably advertise it as Luxury
