If you come by car , this hotel is one of the best options to go to venice.
The staff is really nice an can print you in the hotel the venice card.
Best is if you buy it for more than one day so the price lower.
You just pay the price of the card, the hotel charge no fee. Thats service :-)
WIth this card you can walk in 5-10 Minutes to the Tram1 which drives you over the dam to venice in 10 Minutes (which drives until midnight).
The card allows you to use any public boat-bus inside Venice and to Murano, Burano, Torcello, Lido ...
So its not needfull to book a tour where you just stay one hour in Murano or Burano.
I really recomend to go by your own and stay as long as you feel like.
Torcello was a bit of a time waste, cause there is nothing (in my opinion) .
Best is if you go that day to lido at the beach or the nice restaurantes.
We stood 4 days and we could stay even longer to see more, a minimum of 3 days is in my point of view necessary.
Parking in the hotel is free and breakfast, so no worrys for tourist aboard.
