8/10 Very Good

Designed carefully to be "enough" luxury
This place was designed precisely. The bed, shower, sink and nightstand is exactly where they wanted it to be. Bring an extension cord to reach the window side of the bed because there's no outlet over there. That's really the biggest design flaw, imo. Also, just accept that you'll have to crawl over your spouse to go to the restroom because there's only one side access to the bed. I don't think this can be changed without violating the brand, which is "affordable luxury" every bit of space is "just enough" and no more. The continuity of visual branding is solid throughout the building. Again and again the notion of "affordable luxury" repeats, by design. And one other thing that's actually a great at thing... everything seemed to work. No janky plumbing (I really want that shower, BTW), no glitch lighting, and the breakfast was kept full. All the elevators worked and didn't have a strange smell or sound like hotels sometimes have. Even the bathroom vent worked— you can't hear it at all, but it's working. The only other thing, other than crawling across your spouse to get out of bed, is that privacy kind of was compromised by making the room smaller to make it affordable. If you're sharing a room with a coworker, it might feel weird. I imagine sharing the room with older kids could be strange as well. The shower is frosted glass, and the aforementioned super-quiet bathroom exhaust fan is not all that strong. So yeah. It's different, but not terrible.

2/10 Poor

One word describes this place: DISGUSTING. This is not a hotel as it lacks basic standards. There is NO reception. A group of young black people with no knowledge about tourism management and hospitality run the kiosks , called reception. The room layout is just a joke. The owners just thought of Money and to be able to make more rooms and more money, they have made the rooms sooo small that the bed is attached to 2 walls with no space to walk in the room. You enter the room, there is wash basin next to door and 5 steps ahead is the most uncomfortable bed. You have to climb up to enter the bed. NO pillows. Nothing standard. Backache and neck pain is killing me. It's a capsule hotel seen in Japan. NO respect. The area is not the nicest part of town. I HAVE NEVER FELT SO UNCOMFORTABLE IN ANY TRIP IN MY ENTIRE BUSY TRAVELLING LIFE.
