Our stay at the Palms Hotel was dreadful, and I can’t recommend it to anyone. This was my worst hotel experience, and I don’t understand how it has good reviews. The bathroom was dirty, and so were the towels. The staff was incredibly rude, especially Manny, the hotel manager. The most frustrating part was the pool closure. They claimed it was too windy, but every other nearby hotel had their pools open. I know this because my friends stayed at those hotels. However, guests who paid for a cabana were allowed to use the pool, which makes no sense. If the pool is closed for safety, it should be closed for everyone. We received no alternative or compensation. Manny didn’t care at all about my complaint and didn’t take me seriously. We ended up buying a day pass at the Rio Hotel, just a kilometer away, to use their pool. The worst part wasn’t just the pool, but how we were treated. Not one staff member was friendly. It was a huge disappointment, and if I’d known the pool was basically reserved for cabana guests, I’d never have booked. Avoid this hotel at all costs.
