Long road trip, stayed in several hotels.Most places have staff shortage but do their best. Not this place! Arrived late after 8 hrs drive, very tired. The room smelled like a Highschool gym with sour milk. Front desk solution: Lysol & instruction to bring it back. Could not reenter, key card problems. Back to front desk. Lysol helped a little, we slept with an open window (summer heat, an interstate nearby). Floor was so sticky in places slippers stuck, sofa & seat were very dirty. Fridge partially iced over, door of the ice compartment was lying loosely in the fridge. Next morning another woman at front desk, the only nice one, apologized, offered to help move our things (finally other rooms available). With Covid we prefer to keep a distance so we moved our things ourselves. Last hotel on this trip so a lot of luggage that we wanted to pack for flying home. But she at least offered to help. Exhausted after moving etc we went out to get food. We came back, could not enter the room again. Another trip to reception. Another woman,very condescending, had canceled our key cards because we were not in the room when she checked our room. I told her that it was becoming tedious to have to go so often to reception. She was actually annoyed with me as they had fixed all our problems according to her. Next morning on my way to the shower someone opens the door without knocking, again no apology. Check out: a man, no hello/good bye. Wanted confirmation that all is set. Not possible
