It was very good. But Breakfast was not included.
The hotel was new, clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend it. Our dog stayed free as well
Check in was easy, pets stay free. We got to our room and the inside door handle fell off immediately. Someone had stolen the HDMI cable from the TV, so we had to call the front desk to have them replace it. The bed had a horrible creak, even when you just sit down on it. The floors were filthy, our white socks were black. No breakfast, due to the pandemic. Overall, it was just a room to sleep and shower in.

The only thing that was wrong with the room, was the tv bedroom wasn’t working. So we pulled out the bed in the couch which was surprisingly really comfortable, to watch tv in the living room area. Other than that, I had no complaints. Great stay.
Online, the hotels advertisement in bold lettering said ‘free on-the-go breakfast’. We were counting on that. The friendly hotel employee said that the hotel site mentions in tiny words that there’s actually no breakfast due to COVID-19. Not even coffee in the darn lobby. Coffee in the hotel room, thank goodness(thinking the hotel may just take away the tiny coffee maker as well). The hotel advertisement should read in bold words ‘no actual breakfast’. Overall comfortable room & bed.
Food service was challenging as the free breakfast was not available & some restaurants were only take out.
It was a nice quiet place in the part of the city we needed. It also appeared that proper covid precautions were being taken.
Room was spacious but not as clean I expected. Due to Covid housekeeping had been reduced to only before my arrival and after my departure. For the rates I had to pay for 3 nights (gouged because of Thanksgiving) I feel they are really cutting corners. First thing I noticed was the bedcover. It was stained in different areas so I ripped that off the bed and checked out rest of bedding. That was ok. Next morning I accidentally spilled some coffee on the bathroom floor and after using a towel to clean it up I found out just how dirty the bathroom floor really was. Then checked out the carpeting (wore white socks). Not much better. Thankfully I had slippers with me. If LaQuinta is going to cut some service the least they can do is a much better job of cleaning and sanitizing because if Covid.
The only two complaints I have are the rear entry door from parking area did not lock, allowing anyone to enter and a weirdo entered and acted like an employee. I called front desk. Second, the hallways had an odor, they just didn’t smell fresh and it’s the first impression one gets when arriving.
