The property was ok, it is a brilliant location, however the bar was unable to sell any alcohol, due to not having a licence, so we did not bother eating there.
A huge area of concern was that the room had a kettle, however the cups, tea, coffee and sugar were on the landing served in an open uncovered dish, hardly hygienic in this any situation, let alone in this current climate.
At a first glance the rooms seemed to be clean and well presented but the blinds were thick dust in most of the rooms, the doors to all rooms were left open, encouraging the spread of infections, the largest family room has a see through door to the bathroom therefor it is not private, you have to walk through the bathroom to enter the bedroom, the wardrobes of sliding doors was full of junk, another room had a shower in the corner with a screen in front of it and a wash basin, the toilet was not in the room but down a corridor to the left. another room had a private bathroom, much better but general cleaning was required. overall room for improvement and not as advertised. Breakfast is not available because the bar area does not open until 11am.
Such a shame because it is in a brilliant location, close to everything you need and wish to see. Staff didn't really seem caring or knowledgeable. My advice stay at the premier inn.
