Well, our stay at Hyatt Place Jumeirah hotel wasn‘t all that pleasant. We excpected more of a brand new four-star hotel.
When we arrived in the middle of the night, tired from our journey, the check-in at the reception took forever (at least it felt like that). Communication between staff and guests in general was a huge problem. There was a fire alarm at 5 o‘clock in the morning. Responsible as we are, we walked down the stairs from the 7th floor to the ground floor. As we stepped outside, a member of the staff told us to just get back inside („everything‘s alright“). No apology!
One day we came back from a day trip at around 5 o‘clock in the afternoon (we left at 8 o‘clock in the morning) and our room still wasn‘t done! As we told the staff, there was again no „sorry“. They brought us one towel, although we were two guests and even said so.
The temperature in the room, where we had breakfast every morning, was way too hot and the music was annoyingly loud. The coffee machine was veeeery slow - it took ages to get a proper coffee.
The pool is located on the first floor. It‘s sunny until noon and then the area is among the shades for the whole day - it could get a bit chilly sometimes. There is indeed a pool bar, but it wasn‘t open, even though there always was a member of the staff present.
