I stayed at this hotel twice, from December 20 to 26, 2024, and again from December 29, 2024, to January 3, 2025. Both stays were disastrous. Housekeeping was a nightmare. Despite requesting it 3-4 times a day, it was rarely done. When I asked the front desk, they absurdly replied, “You mean full housekeeping?” and expected me to come down and request it personally every time. Isn’t it standard for 5-star hotels to handle housekeeping when guests are out? This laziness and lack of professionalism were shocking. The front desk staff were slow, rude, and unorganized, but the two doormen at the entrance were the worst. They never greeted guests, helped with luggage, or acknowledged anyone. Instead, I had awkward eye contact with them, wondering why I had to feel invisible at the entrance of a luxury hotel. Their apathy damages the hotel’s reputation, and they either need serious retraining or replacement. Between my stays, I stayed at another 5-star hotel where the staff were professional and courteous, a stark contrast to this hotel’s incompetence. I tipped them gladly, as they delivered the service expected at this level, which this hotel failed to provide. Every morning, the front desk caused chaos, lining up guests like cattle in a stressful, disorganized process. The room conditions were poorly maintained, and combined with the lack of proper housekeeping, it felt more like a budget motel than a 5-star property.
