Clean, Comfortable and Convenient
This was a medical stay and overall we were satisfied with everything. We chose this hotel for location first. The breakfast included was great. Bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean.

Lovely location budget prices
It’s a great Budget Hotel in the heart of Portland City. Its near to a Tram Station, car parking is adequate. The rooms are clean and tidy. There was a fresh water fountain tap very near to my room.

Portland weekend
Older facility that really could use updating. Our room smelled a little musty but no obvious mold or anything anywhere, just that “damp” smell. TV in room did not work. Offered to move us to another room but since it was already evening and we were only staying one night we declined. Breakfast was fine- what you expect in a hotel continental breakfast. Not sure why they charge for parking when they have a huge lot. Since we were only there for one night it was fine

Watch out for the poop bandit
The people at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The semi outdoor hallways are carpeted and are quite stained and not great looking. The room itself looked like the pictures and the bed was SO comfortable. When the heat is turned on, the room becomes extremely humid and there are no vent fans in the bathroom for the shower steam. The continental breakfast wasn't bad; the hotel it right outside of a train station and lots of parking. The down side is that we came out to our car the morning we were leaving and found feces smeared all over the windows. The staff were helpful and tried to help us hose it off but we couldnt find a spicket so we just went to a car wash instead.

Photos were deceiving...
The pictures online are a little deceiving. The hotel is very dated. It almost seemed more like a motel with the doors of some rooms on the outside. Curtains, carpet, shower curtains, furniture, bathtub, and other in room amenities were older and dingy. The bed sunk pretty far down when kneeling into bed, which in my opinion, is not a good sign. We slept okay but I think mostly because we were very tired from our days adventures. It was hard to stay asleep long though. Breakfast was very limited but it's continental so that's what is expected. We did not eat anything from there but did check it out to see what they offered. The space was big and seemed clean. It was probably the best looking space. Public transportation right outside the front and a couple blocks down there are food carts. Getting in and out was not terrible in that area even with construction. The pool was closed since we were there in October.

Nice employees, okay for one night stay.
The room smelt like Indian/Chinese spices. The carpet felt yucky. The pool was nice and heated! It was okay for a one night stay, however I would have wanted something a bit nicer for a longer stay.

2/10 Poor

I was shocked at how rude the staff in the beginning was. Nathan has a less than personable personality for this job. We were standing in line ready to check in and an employee cuts in front us to pay for a drink….. when we said “hey? We are guests here and you just cut us what kind of customer service is that” they both laughed and ignored us…… it is wild to be that dense. Nathan explained to us that they got priority because they went to the university.. that gives them the okay? Super confused. Won’t be going back.
