The Rhine Embankment Promenade (Rheinuferpromenade) is among the city’s most popular spots for a stroll. Sitting between the Altstadt (Old Town) and the Rhine River, it’s a favourite destination for locals and visitors, stretching out around 1.5 km and giving you great views of the Rhine Tower and Castle Tower. 

The promenade is only a short walk away from Altstadt, where you can grab a bite and sip altbier, a type of beer widely sought after in Dusseldorf.
