Parc Phoenix is a zoo and botanic garden with hundreds of species of flora and fauna situated on 7 hectares in the l'Arenas district on Nice's southwestern edge. Some of the animals here are free-roaming, including ducks, pelicans, swans and turtles, but others are caged.
The greenhouse occupies 7,000 square metres of space and is one of the largest greenhouses in Europe. Its 7 zones offer hundreds of different species of native and exotic plants in bursts of brilliant, perfumed colours. Since its opening in 1990, the park has been a popular attraction for locals and visitors alike.
