Disappointed
My wife and I arrived after having a delayed flight, to be greeted by no one, no drinks no warm smiles, just to stand in a long line. It felt Short staffed, seemed forever just to check in, just for them to tell us that they don’t have the room that I booked available, without offering no upgrade or compensation & apology. After expressing myself, they only had three rooms to pick from so we picked the best one and made the best of it. Being as though we’re only here for four days.
So we thought until we got to the room where we found painted over light switch covers, shower door unhinged the room generally unkept not clean . recess lighting fall from ceiling, pictures removed,telephone not working. TV stand and dresser drawers a jar (See pictures)
(Sidenote) the room did have two balconies and a good view of the bay.
Room service took forever . if ordering food to your room before 11:00 AM, you have to pay out-of-pocket !. Transportation from golf carts was a joke never showed up.
The general morale of all of the staff was subpar , no good mornings when walking around the resort. The only good mornings we received was from staff trying to sell you a spa treatments.
The restaurant was OK for what it was. You had to make reservations for more than half the restaurants, which I suggest making before getting there, but also they should be compensating for people who don’t know to do so.
Apparently must have certain attire on, which is also not mentioned
