My wife and I just stayed at this great property in Ravello. Our room, which was located on the lower level of the property, had great views of the ocean and was very spacious. Breakfast every morning was nice and they brought it to our room. If you’re trying to decide where to stay in the Amalfi Coast, I would strong recommend Ravello for it’s quiet, small town feel. This property is also walking distance from everything in Ravello.
Now to the disappointment. We arrived in the late afternoon and it was a bit rainy so my wife and I wanted to take showers after dinner. To our dismay, there was no hot water. I called the property owner and over the phone she tried to explain to me how to turn on the hot water heater. After 10-15 minutes of trying and my wife freezing in the shower, we finally got it to provide us with varying levels of hot water. It would go from warm, to hot, to freezing cold. The owner of the property told us someone would come the next day to fix the problem. I don’t know if anyone came the next day because we were never able to get a consistent stream of hot water in the shower. I’ve never had this problem at any hotel, but for this price, it’s honestly not acceptable. Especially for two nights.
