whilst the room was clean on arrival and the bedding and towels etc fresh, a large balcony. The check in was a bit of a nightmare as there is no receptionist ever, unless people are checking in. You must tell them in advance of your arrival time and then wait for their arrival when you arrive. We did see some others that had a long wait in the bar next door. The rooms aren’t cleaned during your stay. It says every 4 days but this did not happen. We had poor weather during our stay so I closed the bathroom window and was unable to open it again, meaning the smell of the drains was over powering made my OH physically sick. The bar down stairs and attached pool are lovely and serve good food and drinks and the staff there are really friendly and professional. Overall a reasonable stay for the price but if we had paid more I would have requested a refund due to the drains and lack of cleaning. Location is good with a short walk to the strip, oura and old town. A few tweaks and this place would be a gem. I felt a €200 deposit was excessive and the lack of staff at times felt unsafe, we arrived home one evening to extremely loud music but there was no one to assist in locating the room and asking them to stop, they did stop eventually around 11.30pm. So could be an issue if there were more inconsiderate guests.
