I’ve probably stayed at 250 hotels on the last 5 years, either with family or for work and I’ve maybe left one negative review for a hotel in that time. This was the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel in years. Checking in with two small children - there was some issue with our prepayment and I was told I couldn’t charge anything to the room. We told the check in team that we were extremely tired after a long drive, we went upstairs and went straight to bed. 9pm rolls around and what can only be described as a rave starts outside our window. This continues til 12.30 am, with lights so bright they’re coming through the window (Cincinnati has a noise curfew of 11pm). We were not told this was happening, nothing on the hotel website about this being a thing, all of us were awake until 1am this was horrific. They could have mentioned it at check in and we would have checked into a different hotel. I wish I could upload videos to this review to really show you how obscene this was. So loud that the bass shook the entire room. The hotel wouldn’t do anything, and hotels.com told us our only choice was to check out with two babies at 1am or accept a $50 refund - absolutely awful service and an awful experience
