The property was adequate and served its purpose. The location is convenient to a couple of Metro lines which is very useful. The neighborhood is fine, though there was a tendency for locals to hang out late into the evening smoking, so if you're sensitive to noise/cigarette smoke you're probably not going to want to leave the windows open while trying to sleep. Not the fault of the property management but something to keep in mind.
A few notes about the property - the washer is not a combination washer/dryer, so don't wait until the night before you leave to wash clothes! There is a line to hang clothes on to dry in the shower. Detergent is not provided, I brought a couple of Tide pods. A little note on how to correctly operate the shower would be very useful. I've traveled to many European countries but this was my first time staying in a studio instead of a hotel so I'd never encountered the water heater in the bathroom.
The one big negative is that there was an intermittent foul odor in the room, to the point that I started checking under the bed for a dead mouse or the like. Best as I could pinpoint it was coming from/around the refrigerator. It was visibly clean, no idea what the cause was.
Finally, they should be explicit about what floor the studio is located on, and that there is a steep spiral staircase you're going to have to carry your luggage up. Our room was on the 4th floor, and even as a NYer living in a 4th floor walkup it was a challenge.
