Stay was excellent. Condition of the apartment was super nice with the only exception that there is very limited parking space. The space in front is limited to only 2 hours of parking. The only way you could park is to walk about 5 minutes down the block. Overall besides the parking issues, the place was nice and clean!

I only leave this review to warn others about what they may expect. When we first arrived to the location, there wasn't accessible parking, it was 2 hour street parking in front of the townhome and then overnight parking was a block or so down, if you could find a spot. So I don't think they should say parking is available when it's hit or miss whether you'll be able to park or not. Secondly, the property says there is AC in each unit, which there is... but you're not allowed to turn it down to cool the room down. When we stayed in August it was 90° outside, it was a joke that we wouldn't be able to adjust the cooling in the room. The final and most horrendous thing to happen to us during this is we were given the incorrect check in instructions! We were given the code to a room that wasn't ours! You can image our surprise when we started settling into our room and two strangers walked in!! They showed us their instructions and they were very similar to ours, same door codes and everything. When I messaged the property owner about not knowing which room we were supposed to stay in, I didn't get a message from them until 2 days later!! Which then had the right code and room... What the heck was I supposed to do?! I had 2 strangers in what I thought was my room, and no where to stay for the night. My partner and I packed up our things and went back to the car, needless to say we didn't end up staying here... we were stuck booking an extremely last min room somewhere else.

Space was quiet & clean. Central location was great for commuting from downtown to Mt. Airy and back. - Wasn't aware it was a communal kitchen from the listing. - 3 separate door codes to enter the room are the deal breaker for us. Took multiple tries every time, some doors required hitting the unlock button code, other # sign after code...Has to be a better & more convenient solution for access. - A/C requested to set no lower than 70 degrees, which we did. 86 outside felt more like 77 inside, not 70...

Overall it was a very good experience with the booking. There were a few details that were not clear in the ad. For instance the free parking is not at the property, it is down the street and on the curb. There is a $249 security deposit to receive your check in codes on top of the room fee. The unit “shares” a kitchen with another room and the room you are booking only has a bed, bath, and closet. There is a small refrigerator, tv and WiFi. The unit was sufficiently secure and comfortable and suited my needs for a short stay on business. Was perfect for a single traveler. The neighborhood appeared to be “transitioning” and there was a great deal of “updating” going on that was encouraging. The location was very convenient but a short commute would be necessary for food and supplies. If traveling alone I would stay here again.

Overall our stay was great!!! There was a bit of a worry about getting into our rental because Expedia didnt send us the information. Capital Hotles called and sent me the information which was amazing! I loved how secure the place was with 3 different codes to get into our bedroom. I felt very safe. It was also clean and enjoyable to stay here for the weekend. I would definitely recommend staying at this property if youre going to Philly.

The bed had a fitted sheet and a fleece blanket only, there was no top sheet. The room was too small and we left to go to the concert and they were in our room uninvited searching and digging in my fiance's bag. They took my toothpaste my toothbrush out the bathroom and stuffed it down in her luggage I don't know what else they were doing in there but the blinds were completely down. These individuals who came in the room were kids furious kids who are searching through your belongings. I would never ever go to one of these places again. They just walk right in your room. Awesome communication! Locked myself out of the room accidentally during midnight so I called the property manager. He responded within one phone call and sent someone to help immediately! Place is clean and quiet, very good for resting after a long day. There are bus stops minutes away and parking spots along the streets. Would definitely come back to stay if I visit Philly again! Overall had an excellent experience staying here and communicating with the host!
