The staff was very welcoming, and gave us a run down of attractions in York. They accomidated our request for ground floor due to physical limitations, which other locations did not. Mo even made us and another couple dinner one night. It was within walking distance of the train station. I would definitely stay here again

Certainly can't fault my stay here. Friendly staff at teception and the room was clean, tidy and comfortable with all the amenities needed for my stay.
The crescent is situated 5 minutes from York centre making it's location perfect.

Great location and price. Slightly outdated and was woken up a few times overnight due to noise from other guests going in and out of rooms (earplugs were provided by the hotel but I mistakenly did not use them). Overall very good for a cheap night close to the city centre.

It was very nice. Lovely rooms. When we arrived disheveled from a missed train and pouring rain the wonderful host gave us tea and coffee. He was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
