Well…. This place is pretty darn good. I always stay here when I’m Medford. Affordable, very clean, modern and safe. They really take pride in the appearance of their hotel. I’ve stayed over 10 times here and everything considered It’s my go to. Good tv channels, modern rooms, comfortable bed, coffee maker, fridge and great staff. The breakfast is a nice bonus. Nothing fancy but a good start to the day with hard boiled eggs, toast, waffle, cereal and bananas. I will stay here a fan and again without question.

I have stayed at Rodeway for business for years. It's always clean and otherwise a solid, basic choice. I like the owners/operators. It's probably a bit too basic for my family, however: rooms are very dark if you want to maintain any sort of privacy by keeping the heavy drapery closed - there is no sheer layer to let in outside light. Also, breakfast seems to have become extremely minimal - I would call it more of an "early snack." No juices and not many choices, but maybe everything was just gone by the time I arrived later in the morning. I'm not big on breakfast so I walked in, walked out, and just got coffee and a pastry down the street. Still on my list but I may start to look for more substantial alternatives.

Traveling for sports tournaments usually means rolling the dice on hotels… but this place was SUCH a good find 🙌 We’re in Medford a lot for lacrosse and honestly, this is now our go-to. Every room has its own covered parking spot right in front (game changer when you’re hauling gear + kids). Rooms are super clean, recently updated, and no carpet (which I loved). The vibe is small and family-friendly—about 40 rooms all on one level, so it felt safe and easy. Staff was incredibly sweet and made everything simple, even just grabbing fresh towels or dumping trash. Highlight for the kids: there’s a basketball hoop on-site, and the owner’s kid came out and played with ours. It just felt personal and welcoming. The only minor challenge we initially had was breakfast timing. Tournament mornings start early, and with breakfast opening at 7:00 AM, we couldn’t take advantage of it. However, when I mentioned this to the owner and suggested opening earlier during busy sports weekends, they didn’t just listen—THEY ACTED. The next morning, breakfast opened at 6:30 AM to accommodate us. That level of responsiveness and care is incredibly rare. It’s one thing to offer great amenities, but it’s another to truly listen to your guests and make real-time improvements. That alone deserves more than five stars. 10/10 recommend if you’re traveling with family or for sports—this place just gets it 💯
