Room was clean, clean floors and bed. Very basic motel and on a very busy highway, Rooms next to the main road will be noisy. No direct beach access, you have to take a trail a mile down but the trail is a nice 30 min walk to downtown area.

Honestly, we usually have our two ghost spots to stay at. We wanted to get something different. We tried out Oceanside and it was beyond what we expected perfect for what we’re looking for. Oceanside Inn was a pleasant and affordable place to stay in Monterey. The neighborhood is not great, but there is a Starbucks just down the street, and it is two blocks (over a hill) to the beach). The staff are pleasant and efficient and we had a satisfactory stay.

This motel is not a new nor a good viewed but it was clean and good for the price. It is located in convenient place because it is close from restaurants, famous beaches, and 17 miles drive way. If I will visit this area again, I may come back to this motel.
