Good property, mostly friendly staff. Food needs a refresher. They do Limit you on what you can order for Being all-inclusive Only one steak entree allowed per day) also, Can’t sit outside to eat unless it’s within certain hours. Rooms are decent but dated. Have a spring break vibe(easy to Replace anything if it breaks).
We loved this hotel. The staff was amazing . The views was breathtaking . The room was clean . Everything was great. Your staff members Brenda and Ari was amazing ladies. Great time at the pool and beach. Great activities. Definitely a holiday to remember.
I booked this trip last minute and everything about the resort exceeded our expectations. The grounds and pool were beautiful, our room was spacious and nice decor, the staff were all really friendly, COVID precautions were excellent and the food was delicious. Not all of the restaurants were open due to the low occupancy but we enjoyed every meal. Our favorite was sitting at the sushi bar at Ayami and being treated to the magnificent sushi artistry of Orlando, I miss eating there already. We had excellent service from all of the waiters especially Sergio, Ullices and Jorge. At the adult pool bar Pedro was excellent, our second day there he brought us drinks when we were on the beach and we hadn’t even ordered. Tipping definitely makes you more memorable, but the staff gave great service to everyone even though most people isn’t tip.
Out of all my travels I have never had to switch hotels mid stay, until this trip. But this one was so bad we lasted just a few hours. The food is awful, the staff is non-attentive and they are also very unsure of anything.
Do NOT STAY HERE! I never leave bad reviews, first of all, I am extremely forgiving when it comes to service and hospitality because I’ve worked in that industry and I GET IT! But, listen...save your money. If you’re debating between this hotel and another...GO WITH THE OTHER ONE! Service is TERRIBLE! They are not accommodating AT ALL! Paid extra for an upgraded room, hated it. Was in line to get food poolside, get to the front and the kitchen magically closes. I was STARVING! Decided to take a nap and was woken up by loud mariachi music and partying...cool! Don’t mind it actually...Im on VACATION. However, I get up to go and see what’s going on as it is coming from a restaurant, I get there at 10:30pm “CLOSED” Go to get a drink at the bar, a few mins later, I need another (you’ll need it too if you don’t tale heed to my warning) THEY CLOSED IN FRONT ON ME. Literally start putting bottles away at 11:59 saying they close at 12am. Everyone was so rude, room was so disgusting that get this... I CHECKED OUT! Yes, I decided I’d had enough and booked at Secrets which was the best thing I could’ve done. Please take it from me, the anti-review lady. Put your coins elsewhere.
The resort itself is not very clean. Wasps and bees in all the corridors. Check-in was a joke because they tried to tell me I had to pay a mandatory $30 fee for each night because my room type that I reserved and paid wasn't available. When I asked for a manager they told me "no" and refused and it wasn't until I raised my voice and people started looking that they were willing to fix the problem that they created. Of course its covid so there were limited staff.. the food was less than par. Worse than bad cruise food (and I've had both bad and good) this equated to a middle school cafeteria. Just plain poor. The food was bad. There were little to no organized activities. There is no breakfast if you take a morning excursion before 700 because they all leave at 615 and the only restaurant they have open at that hour is a coffee shop. Or at least it should be but the barista shows up late everyday. Every single day of our trip we went without breakfast. The night crews work with drills and hammers outside in the courtyard while you're trying to sleep. Basically the entire hotel was upset. Then. At checkout, I turned in my keys and was given a card to show me I had checked out and zero balance because it's all inclusive and was prepaid right? Correct. except that they don't communicate with their staff so one of their staff assaulted me grabbed me and my adult son got between us because he apparently doesnt speak enough english to tell me he needed to see the checkout card
Property was relatively new and in decent condition. The room I originally booked had a nice ocean view however the local noisy freeway was 50 yds from the front door. After spending 1 night and getting no sleep I was forced to pay an additional $200 for a quieter upgrade. The work staff was about the only bright spot for the week-nice people!
Would not recommend it was all inclusive and there was no variety of food. Food that was offered ran out, there was a fee for room service that was not stated when booking hotel. Only 1 restaurant was open and the snack bar never had food available the wait was 45 minutes for 2 slices of pizza per guest. Very dissastisfied!
Terrible customer service. Short staff and long waits.
The package was a great price for all inclusive but the food was not very good with the exception of the Rissoto restaurant’s steak dinner! I guess you can’t go wrong with steak! On the other hand, the hotel is in an amazing location with miles of walkable beach front and the staff was friendly and very accommodating! There was some amazing servers at the restaurants and bars including Gerardo Diaz, Kevin, Gonzalo, and Brenda in the pool recreation services! These people are the individuals that made my trip with my son memorable and enjoyable!
