We checked in around 4 PM, and within an hour I noticed that the automatic blinds were not working. This left us stuck in a dark, uncomfortable room. I immediately informed the front desk, but it took a long time for someone to arrive. When the staff member finally came, he said nothing could be done since the technician was away. I asked him to have the front desk follow up with me, but nobody ever called or checked on us.
After waiting, I had to call again myself, only to be told the same thing â that nothing could be done. Iâve worked in this sector, and I know alternatives could have been provided, such as offering another room. Instead, they sent the same staff member back, who managed to fold the blinds temporarily, but again, there was no follow-up. Calls to the front desk also took a long time to be answered.
That night, lowering the blinds was a struggle, and no one picked up our calls for assistance. The next afternoon, when I called again, I was told the technician was still unavailable â yet again, no one had proactively contacted us.
