I had one of the worst customer experiences during my recent stay at EasyHotel Reading.
At check-in, I clearly requested that no one should enter my room at any time during my stay, and the receptionist assured me it would be respected. Despite this, someone entered the room, moved my belongings, and did a very poor âcleaningâ without my consent.
I immediately tried to contact hotel management to file a formal complaint. The manager never responded â not even after four full business days. Reception staff were defensive and unhelpful, and at checkout, simply for speaking firmly and asking for my complaint to be noted.
I have since had to escalate the issue through Hotels.com because the hotel refused to engage directly.
This was a clear violation of privacy, a lack of professionalism, and a total failure of basic hospitality standards.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
