Our stay at this resort was extremely frustrating and far below what one would expect from a place that markets itself as “luxury.” From the very beginning, we were treated rudely by almost all of the staff. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated case: about 99% of the employees we interacted with were rude, and after speaking with other guests, we heard the same complaints. This shows that the problem is not occasional but systemic.
The food was also very disappointing, completely unworthy of the price charged or the resort’s image. We tried to book tables at the on-site restaurants, but were told there was no availability for any of the days of our stay. In other words, we paid for an experience that simply did not exist.
I don’t know if the staff is working under exhausting conditions (which might partially explain their lack of courtesy), but the fact is that the service was some of the worst I have ever experienced in a trip.
I would definitely not recommend this resort.
