Nice hotel in Hong Kong Central. Room is like what you expect from Ibis, with nice view on Hong Kong harbor.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is in walking distance to the ferry transfer to Macau and also to the transfer to Kowloon side. But if you arrive with luggage, you should take a taxi.
Nightlife and other locations are also in walking distance, but you might want to go there by Taxi instead.
Ho Lee Fook is also in walking distance (google it & go there!), but you might want take a taxi back. :)
If you want it more luxurious you might want got other side of HK central or Kowloon, but if you just want a nice Hotel with good location and nice view, you can´t go wrong here.
However compared to the way more luxurious Hotels in Macau, Taipei, Shanghai and Beijing I stayed on that trip, the Ibis had the worst bang for your buck ratio (7/10).
But still I remember it as good choice and would recommend it to all that don´t need a high class hotel and want to enjoy HK to its max and go to the hotel just to sleep, shower and have a nice view on HK harbor, while drinking your morning coffee. Starbucks is in the hotel lobby.
