Historical hotel with great breakfasts and views

We enjoyed that the Brock is a little outside the “thick of it” (ie Clifton Hill commercial street) and that the building has an interesting history. We were also happy with our excellent falls view from the 12th floor. Great breakfast buffet, definitely worth adding on via hotels.com for the $8 price tag. Desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

The person checking us in was very nice. And knew the area and where to go to see different things. The room was very small and the door was heavy to open but beds was comfortable. The parking garage was extra to park in but we enjoyed our stay.

Nice hotel with interesting history

We liked the location which was very close to Niagara Falls and Clifton Hill. The hotel is older and has a lot of character but it was also very dated. Due to the small room size as well as the older furnishings and interior this would probably not be our 1st choice for a future stay.

The room.was small but for 2 days it was comfortable. Bed was high if your older age you'll need a step stool to get up. We had the royal falls view room on floor 12 view from room was amazing. Do need to take 2 elevators to reach 12 floor. Great price and stay will be back.

Great little hotel.

Great location. The view of the falls is from an angle looking to the right but that’s ok. The rooms are on the small size and the bathrooms are teeny tiny. Beds are comfy and hotel is updated. Hershey world. Coca Cola fountain, Starbucks , Waterpark are all inside the hotel. You are right next to the casino and just walk across the street to the falls. Right on the Canadian border. Parking is 45 a night. Skip breakfast at the resteraunt. Super expensive and bland food not worth it at all. Walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors.

Hotel was once beautifully redecorated. It’s tired. Doors wouldn’t even open for my elderly parents due to sticking paint from poor paint prep. Staff was awesome but space as tired and dirty. Linens were stained/soiled. On the upside close to the American Falls and Rainbow Bridge.

Mixed review

The room was really clean. As some people have said the bedroom and bathroom were kind of small, but that was OK since the building so old. My issue was the AC. It did not keep the room very cool, which I had read on another website was a common issue with the hotel. You also had to pay quite a bit for parking, which I wasn’t expecting. Finally, the hallways with the rooms were very dim. However, the staff was lovely and it was a great location.

At first I was concerned about the negative reviews. I took a chance, because everything was at walk in distance. Service was, it was clean. Every day they would the room, replenish towels, soaps, coffee, tea, water etc. Front desk was also very attentive, and very helpful when . I would go back any day.

Service was good! Bed was comfortable enough and got the partial falls view! Well Known and preferred location! Shower had no door so was always concerned about water spilling out. AC was not functional most day but more in the night. We could hear the fan sound but it was still warm. Set the temperature to 60F, lowest point possible. Not willing to go back.

The toilet was to close to the sink, not enough room for bigger people. Some things in room were outdated, door and air conditioner. The refrigerator didn't work. Great location and service.
