What a brilliant concept: a budget hotel with a beautiful view and outdoor space. Really loved this place, appreciated having a full size refrigerator, dishes, silverware, cups, glasses, etc., as well a couch to lounge on. Having a cooktop would have made it even better. My only real complaint is that the bedside "table"---which was just a 5" wide shelf---was ridiculously small. It seems to be meant for just a phone which makes me think that either the designers were really young or the clientele is expected to be really young. I am not young and I need room for my phone as well as a Kindle, a water glass, eye shades, prescription meds, and eyeglasses. I literally had to stack things on the shelf. There's also no closet or drawers of any kind, just a kind of rack to hang and stack stuff. Again, seems like a young person thing. The outdoor area is really pleasant; it affords no privacy, but our neighbors were not always out there when we were, so no big deal. The sun does get intense before it sets (yard faces west). Can't imagine how it will be in summer. But it's still incredible to have that view. One other thing: the fence in back has a gap at the bottom that a small dog could squeeze under easily. Ours did, though only into the neighbor's "yard," and she came right back when called. But if you have an escape artist dog, be aware. River Rock Roasting Company, next door, has great pizzas and salads.
