We weren’t expecting 4- star hotelling, but the pictures were deceptive (and flat out wrong for the bathroom). Only one outlet on one side of the bed, one bedside light, and everything was dingy and patched (the patches weren’t painted). There was visible damage to the walls and a large crack in the ceiling. The shower was tiny. No phone or window screen, or even the usual “do not disturb” sign. Exterior was in need of considerable work. The smoke detector was -strapped- to the wall. There was no one to talk to when I checked out…and I noticed in checking in they had a sign up, that if I reviewed the place as I was checking in, they’d give you a $10 discount. We selected the room we did for handrails in the shower…not that there was space for them in the shower we had—and they werent there. And as we left, there was broken glass in our end of the parking lot.
In all, this place gave the impression of a hotel from the early 70’s slowly being pushed back together by the owner.
