"Maramba Lodge was a wonderful place to end our time in Zambia! The staff is so friendly and the lodge and its grounds are beautiful! We went for a game drive and on a guided tour of the falls (organized by the lodge) which were amazing and affordable. Even saw elephants and hippos from the property! We would definitely recommend this lodge and we hope to return soon! Also, I want to give a shout out to Lubinda, who was very gracious, patient and easy to work with!"

"A group of 7 friends stayed here for 3 nights. The Lodge is very traditional and our 4 rooms were all beautifully decorated, very clean and spacious. The breakfast was included and was delicious, being cooked to order, even having options such as Eggs Benedict. We also ate here on 2 evenings and the food was fabulous and very reasonable. The staff can't do enough for you, always on hand to help, going that extra mile. Kennedy (manager) and his staff, Caroline, Destiny, Naomi were all fabulous. Our full day safari in Botswana was arranged by the Lodge and was very reasonable. We would highly recommend this lodge and only wish we had stayed longer but will hope to stay again in the future. Thank you again, we miss you all!"

"Our stay at the Protea Livingstone was amazing! The staff were so friendly and helpful, our breakfasts were delicious each morning. Our room was comfortable, warm and had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to stay for us to explore Livingstone for 5 days! It is a beautiful hotel and we highly recommend it."

"A fantastic place to stay for visiting Victoria Falls! I stayed in one of the rooms within the campsite part of the grounds. It was perfect for what I needed - a comfy bed and a clean private bathroom. The basic rooms don't have TVs but it wasn't missed as I spent most of my time on the riverside patio at the restaurant! Having the Safpar booking office right on site was super convenient. They were able to arrange a trusted taxi driver who provided return transport to the falls, as well as airport transfer. It's probably a bit cheaper finding taxis outside of the hotel, but this was definitely a convenient option. The restaurant was fantastic, especially the pizzas 🍕 I would definitely stay again!!"

"The rooms are old, dated and have a strange distribution. Beds are small and they don't have a generator so there's no electricity during 18 hours a day which is very inconvenient. They have two small solar lights but that's it. Overall it was not comfortable but the worse was the incredibly unfriendly service. The day we were leaving we went for breakfast at 9:20. It took them more than half hour to serve us breakfast. When we were finishing breakfast and planning our day for a few minutes, one of the staff members approached us and told us very rudely that if we were leaving that day we should go and get the bags out of out room right away or she would charge us for a another night. It was 10:10am. We were in complete shock since to start with we thought check out was at 11 like most places in Zambia, but mostly because of the rudeness of this person who was literally kicking us out when it was them who took ages to serve us breakfast in the first place. She made us feel extremely uncomfortable. The only reason she wanted the room so quickly it was because the only other two guests at the hotel, had complained about the room, they've been shown every room and didn't like any of them and the staff told them our room was the best in the hotel and they could have it. The truth is that our room was also terrible but hey didn't know this. Overall a very unpleasant and unsavoury stay. Not recommended at all. They're better places in town generators and friendly service"
