Maybe my expectation was too high.
I'd never understand the overall rating and comments on this premise, which is quite different from mine. Maybe I expected too much...
- Do not expect the standard hotel. This is just a small guest house, where you will hear all the nosies and stepping sounds from your neighbors and kitchen. To be honest, it is almost like a house-sharing where your neighbors are staying in the next room (luckily, each room has a restroom). Reception is right in front of your door, and when it turns on music or radio in a morning/day time, you will also hear it.
- There is not enough storage place. No elevator (there was an elevator, but never saw it works). No free water in the room. These are small things but when it stacks it is something.
- We needed a taxi to be in a meeting place for a guided tour in early morning. A receptionist kindly offered us to call her in the morning to arrange a taxi for us. We called her and guess what...No Answer! Luckily, we searched and found a taxi app, but we were flustered for quite a few minutes. The receptionist called us back when we almost arrived in the place. We would have missed the tour if we hadn't figured it out on our own.
