While the location and landscape were breathtaking, and the hotel facilities were beautiful, it fell short of what one would expect from what one would expect of an international 4.5* hotel. After checking in, we had to change rooms as there was mold in the bathroom, a large rotting patch of wood flooring and a multitude of stains on the carpet and furniture. The staff truly tried their best, upgrading us to a larger room, but often the service fell short in delivery (dining, customer service, management...). Hotel is in a remote part of Hinan with very few western visitors. I'm sure as tourism grows, so will the hotels ability to meet international standards/
