Driving up the lodge is quite pretty. While we were there they were undergoing construction.
The inside was clean & beautiful. Beverages are offered.
We had a room with a king and 2 twin beds. We were staying as just a couple.
The room itself was beautiful. For 2 people it was ok. But if I had brought mt kids it was not suitable.
The king bed takes up nearly all the floor space, there are lamp tables on each side and a narrow path at the foot. No we to put your suitcases, no closet to hang your coat. A couple hooks are located by the door, under the stairs however a mini fridge with coffee maker on it blocked. The tv was on a bench under the stairs. Visible only by half of the bed.
The loft with 2 twin beds has no other furniture. No lamp, night stand or room for suitcases.
Bathroom was small, suitable again for a couple but not a family. Tiny corner shower, small sink area with little space for toiletries.
I am hoping or assuming the room will be changed to just a couple and not family, as the loft area would hold a couch, tv fridge better and dresser or table could be used on main floor for suitcases.
