Franklyn D. Resort & Spa All Inclusive

We all loved the layout, the closeness to everything, with more than enough space for everything; the "Junior Suites" are perfect! Incredibly enough we even had Privacy, from each other!!! We are definitely coming back to "FDR" for vacations!!! We were 8, EIGHT (the whole family)!, people traveling together!

Loved the staff and nanny’s. Rooms were very big. Beach access at resort next door was great. Excellent snorkeling. Small resort. Good food. If kids are under 10 you can’t beat it

This was a vacation for us, working parents, who rarely get a break. The resort is not large but large enough. It reminds me of a village where all guests get to know each other, if they choose to do so. Otherwise, you can lay low and be relaxed.

The friendliness and kindness of every single staff member is unbeatable. Everyone checks to see that you are okay and having a good time. They bend over backwards to care for all guests and are patient with everyone. The nannies are friendly and loving to the children, ensuring their happiness, comfort, safety and hydration! They reapply sunscreen constantly and encourage activities that suit the heat of they, often shade-activities like board games, songs or arts and crafts. Our kids LOVED it all, made friends and want to return ASAP.

the staff was AWESOME-The Event Coordinator, Bruce, is the man. The food was VERY good. and tons to do with the kids *THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN UNDER 10yo- It is not just family friendly, but family oriented (guest have their own nanny) The only negative was the availability of food after a certain time, and there is not a great market to stock up (there is, but it's advised to go with a local)---

This is family owned resort full of well-trained, professional and friendly staff. The vacation nanny service makes the family vacation so much more memorable. The nanny will take care of the kids including going for excursion trips with the family. We also left our kids with the nanny for a day so that my husband and I could go on a day-trip in Kingston. We met the locals and visited the places where locals would go. This resort will help you to plan your trip anyway you desire. The food at the resort is always wonderfully prepared. The beach is shared with a resort next door. The beach is clean, not busy and secured. The morning yoga class was fantastic to start anyday. This place is perfect for family vacation with young children. We were at a bigger resort last time when we were in Jamaica. This time FDR (Franklyn D Resort) delivered a vacation for any moms and dads. Also, they could provide special diets if required. They provide services for parents with children with special needs. It's so relaxing just to be there with or without kids.

Nanny service is excellent! The food is mediocre. Overall a great vacation!

Great for parents who want to take their kids and have a nanny watch over them for most of the day. Having a nanny gives one a peace of mind and can truly relax and enjoy the beautiful views and great weather.

For the most part the staff are friendly and helpful. Having a nanny is also very helpful, but the kids club is very run down and not appropriate for all ages. The food was decent, but the service at the Honeycomb restaurant was disorganized and at times unacceptably slow. More than once we waited over 40 minutes for breakfast. Bartenders and entertainment staff are super friendly and excellent at what they do.
