This is a beautiful property with an outstanding view. Our guide book, however, called it an elegant villa. It is a simple lodge, which was fine with me, I don't need elegance, but I just want people to be clear about what they are paying for. Some of the room features are broken down--dented lampshades, cracked glass pane in shower. Nice food in restaurant, great swim in the waterfall. Overall nice, just needs some TLC

Small hotel set in beautiful surroundings (forest, waterfall,...). Difficult to find when coming from Penonome (many road crossings have no indications). Hotel is isolated and to go anywhere from there one needs a car. Our room was in the older part of the hotel and was quite basic and boring. Some renovation and decoration work would help. Common areas and garden are very pleasant. Very good breakfast. Excellent food, but a bit pricey, in the hotel’s restaurant. Staff was really excellent both at the reception and at the restaurant, made as feel welcomed.
