Overnight in Messina

Very beautiful building with comfortable beds. The breakfast was very tasty with many choices. The staff was very personable. There was some construction going on in the building which disrupted my husband's sleep about 9 AM. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The rooms are okay and it's good value for the money you pay. But it's looks much nicer on the website, than in reality and I think it needs an upgrade. Breakfast ok, but half of the things at the buffet disappeared and the staff didn't fill it up.. So a little disappointment.

Das Zimmer war muffig, hat schlecht gerochen und sehr kärglich eingerichtet. Alles war sehr abgenutzt. Es entsprach auf jeden Fall nicht den Fotos aus dem Buchungsportal.

Breakfast was great. Internet was not working in the am. Need a bigger sign out front as it looked like an old building but inside was modern. Be nice to have a smart Tv that has You Tube. Be nice to have some body wash or bigger bar of soap.

Initially very good impressions. Nice spacious room, well appointed, clean, nice bed linen. Staff were friendly However the noise levels in the hotel were terrible. You could hear everything from next door, outside etc. Sadly due to that we didn't have a good night and would certainly urge people to pack ear plugs

Das Hotel ist im zweiten Stock eines alten Hauses, ist aber von Innen renoviert und sehr schön. Leider handelt es sich um eine große Wohnung mit mehreren Zimmern, welches zum Hotel geändert wurde. Daher sind die Zimmer zum Flur hin und auch zu den Nachbarn sehr hellhörig. Auch sind die Fenster sehr alt und der Straßenlärm (laute Musik aus Autos und laute Mofas) war bis 2:00 Uhr nachts zu hören, Schlaf leider nicht möglich. Die Frau an der Rezeption war nicht gerade freundlich, Christian dagegen schon. Zimmer und Bad waren sehr schön eingerichtet. Frühstück hatte alles was man braucht, wenn auch die Auswahl etwas mehr hätte sein dürfen. Die Lage ist ideal für Sightseeing. Parkplätze waren an der Straße.

L'hotel é al secondo piano di un vecchio edificio,l'interno è stato tutto riammodernato,pulitissimo e tutto il personale,compresa la signora delle pulizie davvero gentilissime. La camera ( noi avevamo una delux) spaziosa,dotata di tutti i confort (tranne la cassaforte) e l'aria condizionata funzionava bene senza essere puntata direttamente sul letto. Le uniche due note negative sono la colazione poco "siciliana"anonime briosce e l'inesistente insonorizzazione dovuta a porte e finistre di legno,quindi bisogna sperare nella buona educazione degli altri ospiti quando transitano nel corridoio e se come noi siete limitrofi alla sala colazione che non comincino alle 7.00 del mattino a parlare ad alta voce mentre preparano per la colazio ne. Nei pressi si trovano dei parcheggi a pagamento e ci sono bar ( come il Bar Eden) e ristoranti,la zona é davvero comoda.

Vittorio Deluxe was a beautiful property in the heart of Messina very easy to reach from the ferry. Located in an old building the hotel is on the second floor. Had a large room and a bathroom with a great shower, room Included breakfast each morning. Parking is on the street and you need to get a parking ticket from 8 am to 1:00 and again from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at 3 euros each. Also there is a room tax of 2€ a night payable in cash only.

This property and the staff are really nice. The breakfast is very limited. Disappointing that plastic cups were used for drinks. The area is safe and walkable. One really negative point is the amount of traffic, loud music and even firecracker noises in the late evening into the night. If you are a light sleeper, make sure you have ear plugs. Antonella, Chiara and Simone at the reception were very nice and helpful during our stay.

One night in messina

Stayed one night like a lot of hotel in cities in Sicily reception and rooms on first floor. Room excellent staff at hotel friendly. Stayed only one night. Messina city didn’t come to life to nine at night we went out at eight and restaurants just opening but cathedral nearby and got lively later. 20 minutes walk from railway station Good breakfast usual ham cheese etc but some nice local cakes as well. Wi-Fi good Would recommend again
