Sanctuary of the Rose is a lovely little house with lots of personal, interesting touches. It’s easy to access both the high mountains as well as Manitou and Colorado Springs. Ann and her husband were delightful to deal with if needed but not intrusive. I would highly recommend a stay here!

A relaxing experience and a wonderful trip! A private, wooded setting very close to hiking, shopping, landmarks, and restaurants. Lots of amenities including soft towels and bedding, quality personal care products, water, snacks and coffee. We also watched movies from their DVD collection after active days of hiking and exploring. Well organized and professional owners. We had a great time!

This cottage was perfect for us celebrating our 20th anniversary. It had all the little amenities that made it feel like home. Easy living, no stress with mountain view and very close to Pike's Peak, Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods and Old Colorado City. Never a lack of things to do or see, or simply just relax on the porch, or in the labyrinth garden. Cottage is scrupulously clean with so many charming unique touches. Loved it. Would HIGHLY recommend for a couple or single looking to just regroup or have a nice private place to stay while seeing the area.

Loved this vrbo. Had everything you need and more. Ann and Matt are wonderful host. We will be back. The deer were so close and fun to watch. The location is perfect for your Colorado activities. The bed was perfect and everything was very clean. Matt has beautiful flowers. If u don't stay here, you are missing out.

This was my second visit to Sanctuary of the Rose, a beautiful cottage nestled in the mountains outside of Colorado Springs. As before, we were greeted warmly by our host, Ann, who made sure we had everything we needed. The house is cozy, warmly decorated, and stocked with books, games, and movies. Best of all, Ann has constructed a beautiful stone labyrinth outside the cottage where her guests can walk and reflect. Sanctuary of the Rose is a beautiful and peaceful retreat from our city lives and we will definitely return.

This was a beautiful property with a lovely view! It came with all of the amenities we could have ever wanted and more. Ann and Chuck were such a gracious hosts and provided any answers to questions we had about the area and touristy things. It’s the perfect location and close to all major attraction’s, like Pike’s Peak and Garden of the Gods. We can’t wait to return!

Simple quite getaway. Ann and chuck are polite hosts that are friendly and willing to give you a great local place to eat. The place is cozy and warm. Love it, definitely will be coming back.

This little adobe was absolutely perfect, Ann has the perfect location for sightseeing. Away from the city and quiet.i sat on the porch and watched the hummingbird. We were so close to Pike’s Peak,the cliff dwellings, old Colorado, manitou Springs, and the Garden of the Gods. The adobe was super clean ,with lots of information on things around the area.. You could have just stayed here for relaxation as well and would not get bored. Ann has truly thought of everything you need.
