Mi Otra Casa - Adults Only

Stunning town center haven

Perfect location for strolling around town and to the beach. Easy to get to and from by taxi also. Food (every meal) and drink within seconds. At night you can hear some clubby music but with the windows closed and the aircon running it is more of a distant reminder you are in a fun seaside spot. We stayed in the Agua room and it was just perfect. My only point of improvement would be: fix the locks please, they are a bit run down and make locking the doors a bit challenging. Something else I would say for future traveler here - please be mindful that you are essentially in a large home vs sound-proofed hotel - so you need to be courteous to your fellow house guests. This would be an amazing place to rent out in its entirety with a group of friends. The common areas are gorgeous and the views spectacular. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a great property with beautiful amenities. It is super well located just 1 block away from the main Plaza. The view from the rooftop is fantastic. One thing to consider is the noise from the bars at night which are pretty loud. Other than that we had a great stay at Mi Otra Casa.

Gorgeous views and lovely terrace. Nice accommodations and bed. BUT if sleeping is important to you, do not stay here. It’s adjacent to the plaza where loud electric music blares until 6am. Honestly 6am. Every night. Then the roosters start crowing. Neighbor above plays loud tv. Earplugs hardly help. Also, Sayulita’s water system is very unsure. Many in our group got Montezumas in spite of caution. I never slam a place, but this was unpleasant.

The property is beautiful with an awesome view from the second floor. The staff such as Jose Luis and Sandra are assets to this property. The only problems with this hotel is the lack of Wifi availability which is about a 10 feet radius in the the front entrance and part of the kitchen area. It is a shame that the owner does not provide better coverage for the excellence of this Casa. The other complaint I have is nothing that this place can control which is the loud music coming from the local bars in the Plaza. The music is loud and goes to about 3:00a.m. to 3:30pm from.Friday to Sunday. This is no joke if you like to get some sleep. I would love to come back here with my family but don't think I will for the weekend maybe during the weekdays only. This home is literally 4 minutes walk down some cobblestones and you are in the plaza. It is close to everything. This is a great location for sure but you will pay for it to with sleep deprivation. So beware. The grounds and the layout of this beautiful casa is worth seeing.

We had a great time in Sayulita....the hotel Mi Otra Casa it’s a very nice, clean and great location. We truly enjoyed our stay there and the people that work there are very nice and polite. We really recommend Mi Otra Casa and we would definitely go back. Thanks for everything!!!

This is a beautiful home. Decorated beautifully. Cleaned everyday. The location is perfect. You can walk anywhere but you are not bothered by the nightlife sounds. We are going back next year and will stay at Mi Otra Casa again. We are actually going to book it now for next year!!! Love it!!!!

Gorgeous mini palace of relaxation.

Mi Otra Casa was a gem waiting to be found. My family and I had such a leisurely stay in this beautiful large home. The rooms and suites are clean, comfy and luxuriant each with shaded decks, and they're all situated with privacy in mind. The private pool with built-in bar is heavenly. The kitchen is large and well stocked to make private meals at any time of day. The third floor open air 'rec room' with a stunning view of the ocean is well suited for sunning, reading, sipping wine at sunset, or partying with friends and family. The vibe of this open air Mediterranean chalet is sophisticated, but warm and inviting. Perfect for a romantic couple retreat or a larger family gathering. The only thing to note is the location of this gorgeous house is in the very heart of the town, blocks from the beach, which is wonderful for shopping, eating and surfing, etc. You are no more than a two minute walk from anything you need. But, because it is close to the main square, it can be loud and festive at night. The rooms are beautifully cool and dark with wonderfully comfortable beds, but if you're one who has trouble sleeping, packing a set of earplugs may be just the ticket. Regardless, we will be returning to Mi Otra Casa for certain. I am already recruiting friends and neighbors to join next time in a fun getaway. It really does feel like an ultra-luxurious home away from home and I miss Mi Otra Casa already!
