We had a fantastic 5-night stay at Six Senses Fiji for our honeymoon. It's so easy to travel to with a direct flight from SFO or LAX, a 20 min private drive to the port and then 40 minute (nice) shared boat ride. Six Senses provides an individual host for your stay and everything is taken care of for you. The staff are friendly and attentive. We have not rested this deeply in a long time. The food is delicious and the excursions are fun and unique. I highly recommend staying here!
Amazing set up on the island, the 4 bedroom ocean front villa was top shelf and so spacious
big group of friends for a long long weekend away - food was amazing and location is great
Fantastic resort for my family of 4! Great environment, very nice room, friendly staffs around the resort with great hospitality. Arrangement for free scuba diving trial lessons for my daughters are just awesome, along with a surprise birthday cake for my birthday girl makes it very enjoyable! Overall a superb get away resort from the relatively crowded Denarau area.
Beautiful property. The experience was one of the best. Staff made the trip memorable. They were very engaged in ensuring a personal and fun experience, including rugby on the beach and snorkel trips. Food was excellent and healthy. Wonderful experience. Can’t recommend it enough to people. We will be back!
Let me start off by saying that I realize I should be leaving gushing reviews of the hotels and resorts that I like so that you get the idea that I’m not a complainer or overly picky person in general. I am not a combative guest, and will let most gripes slide…until there are a great many things that go wrong during my stay. The Good: The room service menu was very limited, but the food was very good. The room was lovely and very comfortable. I had two massages at the spa, and they were fantastic. Definitely splurge on a massage there! The reef at the resort is unremarkable, yet I was able to go on one of the snorkeling excursions that they offered. We went to Sunflower reef which was phenomenal! Abundant coral and fish. Definitely the highlight of my stay. The Bad: The website describes every beachfront pool villa as having a sunbed on the beach, yet only every other villa has one. Indeed, villa 11 has neither a daybed or loungers on the beach, and no room to do so. Some villas have big puffy “chairs”, some loungers, some umbrellas. Luck of the draw. The landscaping is sparse: the area was clearcut for construction, so all the planting is from scratch. In 5 years it will be lush and pretty, and there will be areas of shade, but for now there is no respite from the sun. Consequently, it is hotter than Hades here. The website states they one can get PADI certification there, but the dive master is only ISA certified. He was very nice and apologetic that
Fabulous hotel in an amaxing location by the beach. Staff and facilities are excellent as is the food. 100% recommend to both families and couples
Having tried six senses Maldives for a special anniversary a couple of years back, we were keen to share the Six senses experience with our daughters in Fiji. They certainly caught the bug too! An extremely beautiful resort with wonderful sunsets from the main restaurant and pool. Great to have our own private plunge pool to cool off in whenever we felt like it. Our garden hideaway suite felt a little dark and gloomy compared to the sunny water view we had come from at the Intercontinental, but in some ways that was a welcome relief from the heat. I imagine this isn't an issue anyway with the beach units. There were a few minor hiccups along the way but the mark of a good hotel is in how they deal with these, whether you want to return and stay loyal or avoid and warn others away. Jason did a great job of turning things around so that we had a great time and definitely hope to return. Flexibility with the Linger longer program meant that we got to enjoy a selection of great activities which really made our trip. The snorkelling trip was beautiful - though straight off the beach there is pretty good snorkelling too! I had tried aerial yoga in the past but there's nothing like hanging upside down blowing in the wind on top of a hill overlooking the trees and sky. That was wonderful too. And I really enjoyed the daily Qi Gong and yoga classes to start the day. Food was generally very good. We enjoyed the outdoor cinema, sadly weather meant we could only do this once. Lovely!
Probably one of the best resorts my wife and I have ever been to. Everything from the airport pick up to the drop off was top shelf. Our GEM, Shane, was incredibly attentive and made sure that our stay was no worries. Rooms are brand new and outstanding, restaurants were excellent - from hours of operation to the food that was served. TropicSurf was out of this world
This hotel is located in a very pleasant and quiet island. The beaches are very nice, it is perfect for a getaway. The only problem is the food quality is rather mediocre. My wife and I have been in other Six senses arround the world and by far Fiji Six senses needs lots of improvement.
