14 Urban Hotel

We had in total 4 rooms with friends and family. After the check-out two people from the room already left by taxi and then the guys from the reception told the remaining people, waiting for taxi, that there are open items from the mini-bar to pay. Which was absolutely not true and they were only claiming mini-bar things from the two rooms where the people already left. So the others. So at the airport, the others told us that they had to pay the mini-bar. Of course the price of COP 13‘000 COP is not too much, but from a hotel perspective, to charge a group of people that paid more than 2 Mio. COP for 2 nights, to be honest I don‘t know if this is a good idea. At the end, what I think, the mini-bars have not been refilled correctly and we had to pay for the hotel‘s mistakes. Generally the hotel is ok, but after that mini-bar issue we had, I would definitely not recommend the hotel to others.

Great place to stay, very central and close to parque lleras. Highly recommend.

It's a great location near Parque Lleras in the Poblado. The hotel is very nice - quite small. The staff are friendly. We had a great room with a private terrace and a large hot-tub. We truly loved it out there and it was nice to soak in the tub after a day exploring Medellin. The breakfast was pretty bad (unless you eat eggs - they do make omelettes to order). The coffee and continental selections were bad, but you can go across the street for a better cheap breakfast. Also wish the room got colder. We set the AC to 19 and it never really went below 23. All-in-all, it feels like a great AirBnb in a great part of the city, so I'd recommend it - has a small apartment feel.

Excellent location. Nice clean room, friendly staff. The hotel needs to get better towels, this is my second time there and last time I experienced the same thing, the towels are old and the saw better days. Breakfast offered is pathetic, cold coffee, old fruit, and they run out of food before breakfast is over. Also, please leave a spare toilet paper tissue in the bathroom, not very comfortable needing one and not having it... overall, I like it and I'll go back, hopefully next time they will have decent towels.

The breakfast could be a lot better. I liked the staff. They were very amiable and helpful.

Decent hotel. But they do not change the sheets when they clean your room!!!!
