It was awful .... not clean ... service was not existent .... bathrooms were horrendous ... I almost left because it was that bad ....

Grotty place (toilet and kitchen were unclean) in a poor, difficult to find location. Bedding was bobbly and worn, looked like it had been there for years. Manager (or owner?) asked me at one point to stay in my room or leave whilst he swept and mopped rather than let me use the bathroom then, on the morning I was due to leave, burst into my room an hour before checkout to remind me I had to leave in an hour. When I tried to check out he couldn't no bothered to get out of his chair. In general, it all left me feeling like an unwelcome visitor rather than a paying guest. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The owner did not answer the phone! Could not find the propety! Hotels.com could not help me!

I did not like location, facility is not offering more than a private room and is a very chip room secured by the door with shared toilets, shower and very uncomfortable corridor with no TV, dirty amenities and broken shutters to the window. I believe that Expedia should not include this place to it’s clients.

The hostel was in a really nice neighborhood, nearby to some restaurants, the light rail, and Mt. Herzl. Checking in and out was easy, and I found the hostel to be very cozy.

I had been concerned about no reviews for the place and the cheap price but I really enjoyed my stay at Rich's place. I travelled from Tel Aviv and took the light rail to the nearest station which was less than a kilometre walk to Rich's place. I was able to contact Rich by telephone and he was friendly and informative. The place is in a nice middle class area in the suburbs, close to a shopping centre with nice restaurants and the area was very safe. The property was very clean and the people staying at the property were friendly. I got a good price on a small single room and it was a preferable option to staying in central Jerusalem. I never met Rich but the other host was amazing and helped to book a cheap shared taxi for me to Tel Aviv airport which picked me up outside the property. I wish these guys all the best for the future and thanks for the great service.

Amazing, Outstanding, Accessible to markets, and transportation. If you are looking for a "piece of home" while touristing, this is it! It was complete with a deck, stove, fridge and the dining area includes tables for family. The couch and bookshelf(ves) include a television, with DVD, VHS, and books in different languages. Never a full moment - whether away, or at hostel.
