Holiday Villa, 30 Porter's Gate- Stilvolles Stadthaus mit 3 Schlafzimmern

The property loacated within 10 min walk to the beach, was a perfect location for my family. The golf courses are within a five min drive from the house! Andrea the property manager stayed probably later then she expected to be there, waiting for our arrival and welcomed us, with a tour of the house and amenities. A welcome package of the essentials was icing on the cake as we had been traveling all day, so just to have some milk and coffee was truly a treat. We would recommend this property and location for the golf and beach and a peaceful get away.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable 2-week holiday at this property. Thank you Andrea for responding to our enquiries, to providing additional cooking containers, and for your beach recommendations. A quick walk to the many beautiful beaches, or a short drive to restaurants offering Bajan and other culinary delights, as well as fresh fish shopping at Ms Young, made for easy living. The very best thing about Barbados of course, is that its people are, for the most part, cheerful and helpful. Happy smiles greeted us everywhere; polite drivers stopped to allow entry by car or crossings on foot; a delightful catamaran cruise by Dwight and Andre on Shasa; perfect weather; and most of the comforts of home. We have stayed there previously, the house manager Andrea is the best, she is available to answer any questions and a little welcome package is most welcome, as we arrived on May 1, which is a holiday in Barbados. The one area of concern was the tv, which kept freezing due to the input from the cable modem. We had a power outage on the last night and that reset the cable modem to provide normal tv. It did not respond to the normal pull the plug and reset. Just a minor issue as we did not watch much tv. The location of the villa is just minutes from the shops or beach, and the location is in a quiet complex. Would recommend staying here, we will be back for our golf tournament next year

We really enjoyed our stay. Very spacious. Would highly recommend, but I would hire a car if I stayed again, but this is only due to my walker no difficulties...

We have just spent 2 week’s over Christmas and New Year at Porters Gate. We had a fabulous holiday and really enjoyed staying in this townhouse. The house is very spacious with a good size open plan kitchen/living area. The kitchen is very well equipped and the welcome pack on arrival was an extra bonus. We also enjoyed sitting out on the patio area where there is a good size dining table and a small couch and two chairs. The garden is very private. The bedrooms are all very spacious and light with good size ensuites and plenty of storage space. There is also a cupboard full of cool bags, beach chairs and tennis rackets/balls etc which we used. The complex is gated and felt secure and has a nice pool and tennis court. It is also at the end of a cul de sac and a few minutes walk from the main road so it is also very quiet We didn’t hire a car so travelled to places by bus. The bus stop to the city is at the end of the road. Most days we walked to the beach near the LoneStar restaurant which takes about 15 minutes. You just have to be careful in places as there is no pavement! Andrea the property manager was very helpful before we arrived and arranged airport transfers. She also met us at the property on arrival and explained everything to us. She also quickly sorted out a few minor issues with the house. We would definitely recommend Porters Gate

We were delighted with this property, having visited Barbados on numerous previous occasions, staying all inclusive , we decided to rent a villa, so we could eat out more, and see the delights Barbados has to offer... this is a special holiday whee my sister and I take my mother (93) away for her birthday. So we each had our own bedroom, which was brilliant , it gave us the space to have privacy and comfort... the house is fabulous, with every amenity you need , the furnishings are great, beds comfy... just great . The location is great, walking distance from the gorgeous beaches and warm sea. Very quiet .. just perfect... I would not hesitate to recommend this delightful home from home house.

I must begin by sharing my positive impression following my prior communication and first welcome at 30 Porters Gate by the House Manager, Nicky. He had a professional welcoming presence, provided excellent comfort food staples for our first day, thorough tour of the villa, and his call access as needed confirmed to me his attention to detail and commitment to us for our stay. Nicky informed us the safe would be fixed promptly, and it was. This home is beautiful, spacious, safe location, and equipped with all the amenities one needs. We enjoyed grilling king fish from the fish market, and cooking/grilling bajan everything. Going to Massey's supermarket, or Melissa's "Fish, Fish, and More Fish" fish market, and having the cooler bags and ice packs in the freezer is accommodating. When we ate in, it was always on the patio. When I speak of spaciousness, the pictures are accurate, and it can only be appreciated by one's own tour. As young, senior citizens, my husband chose to use a cane for extra stability having had both knee replacements. Mobility was no problem in the villa. Our adult daughter, enjoyed the bedroom closet and drawer space. As a personal chef, she found the kitchen well-equipped. She liked having a few books available on the shelf to read. She expressed total satisfaction. In my review, every family who follow in making their own memories will agree. At the pool or on the short walk to the main road, we met the residents who were hospitable and informative. The owner's pamphlet was excellent for offering instructions and information in general. We took advantage of the reputable phone numbers. We had a beautiful holiday at your house in beautiful Barbados, and we will return.

We have had a lovely stay at 30 Porters Gate. The House is very clean and tidy and well stocked for everything you might need. We loved it so much we have already booked for next Christmas!! 😎
