Very quiet, clean and recently updated cabin. Well ahead of arrival we received a code for the door and the cabin number we’d be staying in. We stayed in a one bedroom, cabin 20, and felt like we had the property to ourselves. I would say that my definition of resort doesn’t match with Buck Springs mainly because I associate resorts with amenities like on-site restaurants and bars, organized activities or excursions and 24/7 staff. There is no on site staff or restaurant but that was perfectly fine for us. The cabin was a short drive from many restaurants and a grocery store. The kitchen in the cabin had all the necessities including a full size dish washer, 2 burner stove and microwave and there was a gas grill right outside the cabin for us to use. The cabin was perfect for 2 people. If you planned on having anyone sleep on the pullout couch you should note that the bathroom is only accessible through the bedroom. We’d definitely come back and stay again.
But if the property is considering any improvements, a coat rack in the cabin and a few more hangers in the closet would be nice. The lights on the property signs were also not on at night so getting those fixed would be helpful too.
