Best Western Montgomery I-85 North Hotel

The room was clean and a fine place to stay. The hotel itself smelled a little funny, but inside your actual room was fine. The staff are friendly and helpful if you need them. There are a lot worse places you could stay. As I have traveled for work a lot this year I have stayed at 10+ different hotels. This hotel falls somewhere in the middle rankings of places I have stayed. I have stayed at some pretty bad places so let me say if you are just for a decent clean place to stay so this place will work just fine.

Front desk personal should have informed about breakfast time and internet access code. Room was very comfortable; especially the bed!

Room was very clean. Carpet outside the room in the hallway was disgustingly dirty and smelled. As a retired law enforcement officer, I have seen crime scene carpets that looked like this. Totally unacceptable. I had second floor room and the people above me must have had a herd of elephants in their room. Get a third floor room for more peace. Staff extra friendly. Nice grab and go breakfast box.

The hotel had many customers that smoked outside. When I entered the lobby, it reeked of cigarette smoke smell. Also, the front desk clerk was not always readily available. On arriving on our 3rd floor hallway, the carpet was full of dirt and food crumbs. On entering the room, I immediately noticed that a pillow case had two holes in it and it appeared to be worn out. On checking out the next morning, the front desk person did not volunteer to give us breakfast boxes. We only received them after I asked if they were available. I expect to be given what I pay for! All in all, an unpleasant experience.

The hotel is good. The GM was always there & I can tell he makes sure the hotel is maintained. However the area the hotel is located has a lot of people walking around & you can tell there was illegal things happening.

During our very brief time there, about 6-7 hrs total, our car was broken into and tons of stuff was stolen. Hotel front staff had zero reaction, did not offer to help call police, and said there were no cameras. Due to the lack of surprise/emotion, I say this may be a regular thing here.... BEWARE!

It appeared to be clean and smelled nice then as i continued the check in process it was mice running around and then i got to the floor my room is on and there was paper on hallway floor. Very distasteful and i won’t go back there.

Hotel is sketchy area. Parking lot was not safe. Room was dirty. We saw a cockroach in our room.

If you like sleeping in the hood then this is the hotel for you. This is not a safe place to stay. My husband and I stayed here on business. We had ramps on the back of our trailer. They got stolen during the night. The hotel was nasty and dirty. We wouldn’t have stayed here had we not been driving all day. We were so tired so we thought we’d just give it a try. Now I wish we hadn’t of stayed.
