Safranbolu Seyir Konak Otel

The staff spoke English very well. He was always available for questions and very accommodating. The room and atmosphere of the building was exactly what we were looking for. It was cozy, authentic, and has incredible views. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a very unique property as it is a traditional Ottoman Konak. I suspect it was renovated at one point to make it suited to modern travelers. Therefore, the bathrooms are very small - they probably were not a part of the original room. The property is beautifully decorated and well cared for. It is very clean (they even ask you to take your shoes off at the door). The carpets are everywhere. It makes you feel like you were transported back in time. Breakfast is served at a really nice dining room with a view of the city. The details and decor are amazing. Breakfast will not disappoint with variety and portion size and will keep you full for a while. The manager who met us was extremely nice, helped us with bags. He (or any other staff) doesn't speak much English but he was very efficient with the translator app - this is how we communicated. He even gave us an itinerary to see places around. I took a picture of it, translated it in the room and we followed it. It was very well put together and helpful because we didn't know much about the area. The hotel is conveniently located and is walking distance to the market, shops and restaurants. I really recommend this hotel.

Charming hotel with amazing views! My husband and I were warmly welcomed and given a quick intro to the city. The city center is a short walk away. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious with a great backdrop of the cityscape. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

방은 약간 작지만 깨끗하고 가장 위쪽에 위치해서 구 시가 전체가 내려다보이며 바로 걸어내려갈 수 있는 위치입니다. 터키어만 가능하지만 행동으로 설명해주고 친절해서 전혀 불편하진 않지만 처음 찾아갈 때는 구글에서 위치를 확인하고 가시는게 좋습니다. 주차는 가능한데 들어가는 길이.... 많이 좁고 큰 차는 못 들어갑니다. 약간 불편한 점이 있지만 놀러간다면 여기에 다시 묶을 생각입니다. 장점 : 가성비와 전망, 친절함 단점 : 주차 난이도, 방이 약간 작음

The hotel was clean and cozy, breakfast is simple and rich, staff are super friendly and nice. The hotel's location is very good and close to most of the touristic places. Price is very convenient. Bathroom was small and needs slight maintenance though. BUT I would highly recommend everyone to stay at this hotel.

I had high hopes for this place based on the price and reviews but I was disappointed. The thing that stood out to me the most about the room is that it was really small with no where to put our clothes (no closet, no drawers, not even a luggage rack). We had to stack our clothes on the floor. Also, the room felt old, like my grandmother’s, not like it was historic. There were a few things not working in the room such as the mini refrigerator and the towel warmer and some light bulbs were burned out. The hot water was also not very hot. The two positives about this place are the staff and GORGEOUS views of Safranbolu. If I went back to Safranbolu I would stay someplace else because we were not comfortable in the room.

The cozy room is beautifully decorated in local and traditional style. It’s impeccable clean. There’s a charming view overlooking the town from the balcony. The host is so kind and welcoming. Breakfast is great too.

beautiful view!!!! super nice owner!!! but I fact a little bit small for 3 peoples but everything still good !! I must recommend this house to my friend if they come to aafranbolu they also have breakfast to us, the first night we request "breakfast" around 12 coz we just so tired for the long flight. they really make us breakfast at 12 tn the next day!!! thank you very much!!!

Located at almost the highest point the the Safranbolu, yet, we could easily access to all sightseeing spots easily by a few-minute walk. We took breakfast in the hotel cafe with a bird eyes of the city with decent home-made salad, cheese and nice coffee. Thanks Abdullah!, a nice and welcoming host. Don't miss the hotel!
