We loved this place and plan to return in warmer months to take full advantage of all the great hikes and climbs nearby. Thomas and Davis both have their charms, too. Only hiccup at the beginning of our stay was with the well water running out as a result of filling the hot tub twice. But homeowner was very responsive, and the issue was quickly resolved. The hot tub was heavenly.

We enjoyed the weekend stay -- the weather was perfect and the leaves were starting to change. It was lovely!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this house. The location was excellent, beautiful view of the mountains and relatively close to restaurants, groceries and lots of great hiking trails. The main living area (living room, dining room and kitchen) was set up in a nice, open fashion but overall the house could use a little TLC. This may not be an issue for some travelers but little details, such as old cooking ware being scratched up or door locks not working properly, matter to me. Overall, the house was clean but there was a pile of clean towels in the washer and a pile of dirty towels on the laundry room floor when we first arrived. One of the cleaning people came by the house about an hour after we arrived and said she could come in and finish the towels. I politely declined and told her I would take care of it - there is a pandemic going on after all and she wasn’t wearing a mask. I felt bad for her, I’m sure she’s got plenty of places to clean with a short turnaround time — but that was my first day of vacation and I ended up doing someone else’s laundry. I still left her a tip though. Also, the next day another person came by while we were out of the house. My elderly mom was alone in the house and invited the woman in who said she needed to get an ice shaver or something (my mom is hard of hearing so she wasn’t clear on everything the woman said). I texted the house owner to find out who this person was and she guessed that it was the previous guest who may have left a purse. But there was definitely no purse in that house when we arrived and we still have no idea who that person was. Overall, we made the most of it and had a relaxing stay.

We made a last minute booking and Colleen was super accommodating. It was just me and my husband and our toddler, so we only used the upstairs of the house but loved the views and and spacious living room. The bedrooms are on the smaller size but fit a pack n play with some room to spare. The downstairs was fairly musty smelling probably because of all the recent rain. Not terrible but something to keep in mind for sensitive noses. The house is in a rustic suburban area and pretty close to the next house over (super nice couple!) but you wouldn’t know it once in the cabin, especially looking out of the huge picture windows and deck over the valley. We enjoyed two beautiful sunrises and watching for birds and squirrels. The location is also awesome — close to everything!

I went with my husband, our small dog, and another couple. We had a vabulouse time. The Cabin had everything we needed. from the kitchen, bed rooms , bathrooms, living area was spaciou and open, great bright light, and more. It was better expected. Location was great, close to skiing resort, hiking area, Black water fall park, restaurants, and other close by towns for strolling and visiting small art shops and cafes - we spent Friday night through Monday Morning. It was easy to reserve, communication with the ownew was fast and easy. All went smooth, and I'm planning on going there again this winter.

We enjoyed our stay. Great view in a quiet area. We were located Close to everything we wanted to see. The hot tub didn’t work properly which was a little disappointing. The home owner was quick to respond to all of our questions. Hope to stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is very cute and cozy and overall worked well for us. It was close to skiing, the hot tub was wonderful and had nice views of the snowy fields. Our only issue was with the bed space. The listing said it could fit 12 adults but we had a hard time finding beds for 9 (3 adults and 6 teens/twenties). We doubled up in all the queens/doubles. Would be nice if the bunk beds were standard size or need to make clear in the posting that they are only for small children. Think it would be better to say it fits 9-10 adults max. My only other request would be more hooks for hanging things to dry in the bathrooms. Otherwise we loved it! And we would definitely stay there again.
