Baan Kachitpan

Das Hostel ist etwas abgelegen von der Hauptstraße über verschiedene kleine Gässchen zu erreichen. Wir haben hier eine Nacht verbracht bevor wir wieder nach Hause geflogen sind und die Gastgeber haben abends um neun noch draußen auf uns gewartet und uns herzlich empfangen. Ich muss wirklich sagen, dass die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber bei dieser Unterkunft wirklich hervorzuheben ist. Jedoch haben wir für den Preis schon bessere Unterkünfte in Thailand gehabt (bspw. Mit Bad im Zimmer). Es ist auch ein bisschen hellhörig und wir konnten jedes Wort unserer Zimmer Nachbarn verstehen und das Bett war wirklich sehr hart.

I only stayed here one night as I had to leave back to the US the next day, but I would have gladly stayed here longer! Baan Kachitpan is a wonderful location on a quiet side street. The rooms are beautiful, the patio upstairs is lovely and the breakfast is simple and delicious! The location is amazing, walking distance to many tourist attractions and restaurants. Jam made sure everyone was well taken care of and she was there to answer all the questions I needed in regards to booking a last-minute flight home. I wish I could have stayed here longer and I will definitely stay here again next time I go to Bangkok!

They wasn’t expecting us at checking in but was sorted once spoke to the owner . Place is in a lovely area tucked aware from the hustle and bustle and very quirky . Property is a wooden building so of a night time when your trying to sleep you can hear everyone else coming and going through the night and banging and crashing of their doors . The bed in the superior room ( 102 ) is probably the hardest mattress I’ve ever slept on - probably would of been more flex on the timber floor. Cable channels advertised on Tv but should state no English speaking channels what so ever . Not the most ideal place to stay if you want a decent nights sleep .

This is a beautiful hotel that feels more like a home, and very clean. It’s a bit noisy since it’s all made of wood.

Great location, a quiet oasis in the middle of Bangkok. Lovely hosts. Beds are a very firm and walls thin but otherwise a great visit.

This place was the perfect spot for us to relax while exploring Bangkok! It's easy to find and within walking distance to many Old Town attractions. The house is beautiful and very clean - exactly as pictured. Breakfast is delicious and authentic. I would definitely stay here again and recommend Baan Kachitpan to any of my friends.

Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. But the best part of our stay was Jam and her staff. Excellent English. It was like having a private tour guide. Fantastic breakfast.

My stay was nothing less than superb! Jam and her staff are so kind and welcoming! The breakfast was delicious! They even helped organize a motorbike to the bus station for me (I’m sure they could get a taxi or tuk tuk if that’s more you’re speed). The house was beautiful and very well kept. Loved the location being walking distance to all the major attractions and tourist sites!

Welcoming and very nice owners! Flexible check-in time. We arrived in Bangkok city at 1:30 am and the owner waited for us to let us in! Quiet and comfortable but still so close to lots of the most popular attractions in the city. Very tasty breakfast!

We loved the at-home feel of the property. Jam was so welcoming and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious!
