It is a lovely hostel and has everything you need. The location is perfect, right in the city center. Great coffee downstairs. The only minus was that my 30 kg suitcase that I had to drag 3 floors up because there is no lift.

Quite, cozy hostel in the heart of old town

Amazing hostel just on the outskirts of old town. Very quite but only a 5 minute walk to the center of old town. Several places to buy groceries easily within walking distance and also many places that do currency conversion. The hostel is secure and has 24/7 front desk person. Some of the desk people do not have much english skills but they can check you in and get you settled. However they may not be able to help with more complex questions. I suggest using google

Very nice place to stay

Planned for 3 nights. stayed 7 nights. Super quiet, very close to the center of town. super clean. Amazing hostel. Wifi is a bit spotty in the room, but great in the kitchen

Great hostel that met requirements such as good location, comfort, and price. It really was great and I wish I could give this place a higher rating but the one thing that was incredibly disappointing and frustrating was the service. Probably the worst service I’ve had from front desk clerks. They were young workers who did not appear to really know their job. One of them couldn’t even answer a simple question such as where is the nearest bank. The last straw was coming back one night and having to wait 40 minutes for them to open the door!! It was past midnight so you have to ring the bell. I waited, rang the bell, knocked, yelled hoping someone would hear me, called the phone and nothing! Turned out the night shift person was sleeping during her shift! She did not even apologize and just shrugged her shoulders when I said I had been waiting for 40 min, unbelievable. Please train your workers.

We stayed in Gary's Hostel for 12 nights. I highly recommend this hostel for many reasons. It is in an excellent location, a two minute walk to the main historic center. However, the area outside the main historic center, which is where this hostel is located, is also amazing and very worth exploring. This hostel is always kept very clean, it is in excellent condition, and it appears to have been remodeled recently. The air conditioner in our room worked perfectly well in summer, with a temperature setting to as low as 64 degrees. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful and they speak English. The bathrooms are shared bathrooms but the showers and toilets have privacy with doors that lock shut. The water pressure in the showers is excellent and the hot water never runs out. I read a review for this hotel saying it is located on an abandoned, dark, dirt road with stray dogs that attack and that is completely untrue and ridiculous. This hostel is located on a busy main road, next to nice restaurants, shops, traffic, and lots of people walking. The thing is in many old cities in Europe and around the world such as Lviv Ukaraine, you must enter an opening in the building where cars and people go through to get to the hostel, and this is totally normal and not unusual or less secure in any way. We stayed in this hostel 9 nights and never seen a single stray dog here, much less packs of stray dogs that attack!

Appartamento famigliare costosissimo e inadeguato

In realtà l'appartamento composto da 2 camere una con letti a castello e l'altra con letto matrimoniale + 1bagno privato è composto da una camera matrimoniale con bagno accluso + 1 camera con letti a castelli comunicante con l'altra camera e quindi scomoda per persone che gradiscono avere un minimo di riservatezza. Le camere sono sprovviste di lampada da comodino e per accendere o spegnere la luce centrale bisogna alzarsi dal letto al buio. In una settimana le pulizie sono state fatte solo 1 volta e il letto matrimoniale ha un sistema di lenzuoli troppo corti che si sfilano dal materasso che così entra a contatto con il corpo e poco igienico. Personale inadeguato, poco professionale e maleducato
