Quiet Getaway
This lot was beautiful! The cottage was perfect for my boyfriend and myself to quietly relax away from the rest of the world for a few days. The owner was prompt with any questions we had as well as very accommodating. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Just as wonderful as we hoped it would be
We totally enjoyed our 4-night stay at the cottage. Everything was just as pictured, and it was so clean and comfortable. All of the rooms (except for the bathroom) were more spacious than what I expected. The gardens in front were beautiful, and were only rivaled by the serene backyard. My son and I loved watching the resident hummingbird (at least he seemed to live there with how frequently we saw it.) Rodney was wonderful to work with throughout the process. Although we didn’t get to meet him, he did leave us some delicious cookies. Thanks for letting us enjoy your cottage!

Very cute, neat and clean. I recommend.
Stayed at the Garden Cottage for a few days in late July/early August. Loved the place. Very cute, neat and clean. Rodney was great to work with, I had a few questions before and during our stay, and every time he responded within minutes. We had no issues parking on the street right in front, or really close to the house. There is no AC, so it does get a bit warm in the summer, but there are lots of fans. As other reviews have mentioned, you can hear the planes, although it didn't bother us. I recommend it, would stay here again. Side note: If you've never been to Ocean Beach, the area right around the pier isn't great, lots of homeless, trash, run down buildings, but the beach park a couple hundred feet to the north is nice. I mention this because we walked to the pier the 1st night, and were disappointed, ended up driving to different beaches the following days. Then on the last morning we went to ocean beach again for coffee and walked a little further to the beach park, and wished we had spent more time there.

Cozy Cottage!!
It was the perfect home away from home stay for our week long vacation. The Cottage was near shopping, groceries, the beach and a short drive to Downtown Convention Center. I was Very impressed with the cleanliness of the home for it being a rental. We enjoyed relaxing outside in the evening and the fire pit was the perfect touch to the outdoor patio area. Although it was unseasonably warm, the open air cottage allowed for a breeze to flow throughout the home. Overall, our stay was pleasant and Rodney was very helpful in suggesting things to do in the area, and would reply to my text immediately when i had questions. We made it a point to make our way to the beach to watch the sun sets, which added that special touch to our already enjoyable vacation.

In one word QUALITY
We enjoyed our week long stay. Lie staying at a five star home away from home. Love the comfy beds, high end beddings, beach towels and boogie boards, coolers, chairs, umbrellas and beach wagons. While there is no A/C many fans bring in cool night air and the cottage stayed cool while we were at the beach. Washer/dryer, detergent and everything we needed. The landscaping in front and backyard was stunning. What an unexpected treat to have a backyard to relax in after a hard day at the beach. Rodney was so attentive to our needs and very responsive to my questions about getting the beach equipment out. Also note- no reserved parking. We did not have a problem finding street parking with our small car rental. Beautiful beach leg neighborhood. We took morning walks to Sunset Cliffs, enjoyed watching the sunset at Ocean Beach. We will definitely stay again. This place is a hidden treasure, five stars all the way.

Wonderful stay in OB
We had a great experience here. Beds were comfortable, neighborhood was quiet, house and grounds clean and beautiful. Recommended! We hope to stay here again the next time we’re in town!

Wonderful cottage!
Picture book clean and cute! This little cottage has everything you need and more! My two teenagers and I stayed for 3 nights. Walking distance to downtown & the beach, but may want to drive because of chairs, towels or whatever you might be carrying. Rodney was fantastic with his responsiveness and suggestions for dining. So nice to have someone who really cared about our stay...thanks Rodney!
