Excellent stay!!! Super nice staff. Terrific customer experience. Really enjoyed the stay. Soul Beach has the beat SPA ever. Super attentive staff. Delicious breakfast. Top notch.

We had a really nice stay here, the hotel was nicer than what we expected. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also visited the spa which had the hydro pool, sauna steam room, cool pool and area to sit and relax. This was a nice way to unwind in what is a busy area of PDC but please be aware that you have to pay to use these facilities, but well worth it. The location is fantastic, a few minutes from the beach, restaurants and bar but also note that you can hear the loud music from the nearby bars throughout the night which we didn't mind.

Very nice stay. The location to 5th ave and the beach is excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is no bar or restaurant on site but many are just a minite walk away. The rooftop pool area is nice. Could use a few updatea but really not an issue. Excellent value for the cost.

So great, I extended my stay 3 times! The deluxe king room is amazing, luxurious and very clean, the rooftop pool is great and the spa is insta-worthy beautiful and so relaxing! But above all, the staff omg are awesome, warm, welcoming and really friendly - I’m travelling alone and Omar befriended me (and every guest), provided excellent tips and advice, booked me on 2 of the best trips I’ve ever done and even took me to the best taco place in Playa, every hotel should have its own Omar! Faultless service, I never write reviews but would highly recommend staying here! Thank you Omar and all the staff at Soul Beach for an amazing 10 days (meant to be 3 lol)

Great location & friendly staff. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, it felt like a ghost town. Two of the four floors were closed off and the restaurant and bar were closed. That was kind of disappointing as we choose a place with a bar tor a reason.

BE WARNED! SCAM! Watch out if you book this property. A shocking disappointment. After pre-booking two rooms a month in advance we arrived after a long day of travel. With zero prior notifications from the hotel, we arrived only to be told that we would not be checked in unless we paid an additional $104 USD PER ROOM on top of the rate we had already pre-paid. Upon further investigation at that moment the rooms were STILL available at the previously booked rate on several popular booking sites for the same and future dates. We even tried to meet half way just to get checked in. Management and front desk staff offered no help resolving the booking issue that was on their end although we had complete reservation and confirmation details outlining the rooms and rates booked online. We spent an hour at the front desk pleading for ANY kind of help or communication to get this dealt with until we were forced to pay in a state of heated exhaustion. My wife and I have been travelling from Canada to different parts of Mexico for many years, including Playa, staying in numerous accommodations and have NEVER been so let down by a hotel and it’s management. There are plenty of similar places to stay to enjoy Playa. Do yourself a favour and choose to stay somewhere else.

Nice property however they close rooftop pool at 8 pm. Close to the beach. Shower takes a while to get hot, other than that I would stay at this property again
